Weird problem here. I have a dozen or so sites hosted on VPS, along with my MainWP dashboard site. I’ve been able to add child sites with no issues. This morning I tried to add a new child site and I’m getting the “MainWP Child plugin not detected or could not be reached!” error. I’ve double-checked the connection and the plugin - it’s installed and activated. I deleted the plugin and re-added, re-activated, with no luck.
Any ideas?
What result do you get for Test Connection for that child site?
And can you please post the community system report from your MainWP Dashboard for review? The report is located in your Dashboard under Info → Server, on the top right of the page.

When I test connection I get “Connection Successful” URL: www.example.com (IP: …/…/…/…) - Received HTTP-code: 200 (OK)
Thanks for the additional info. Nothing in the system reports stands out as an obvious issue.

The issue has been resolved.
The cause was the usage of a non-www URL when adding a site when in fact, the site has a www in its URL.
