I am having basically the same problem as this on one of my child sites: Childsite keeps disconnecting
However, the OpenSSL version is 3 on both the child and dashboard servers. After reading the above post, I was wondering if this is the same issue, and whether there is a known fix.

Yes, the symptoms seem to be identical. I can connect the child site, but I cannot go to its dashboard, and as soon as I sync the site, it says it is disconnected again.

Can you please verify that you are using the latest version of the MainWP Child plugin v4.4.1.3. on that child site?
And can you also check on the child site WP Admin > Settings > MainWP Child > SERVER INFORMATION page, that the MainWP Child plugin is detecting OpenSSL version 3.x.x?
As far as the plugin version, it has just upgraded to 4.5
Can you please update the MainWP Dashboard and the Child plugin to 4.5 and see if that helps?
