Cron like shell script execution on childs

Hi,

I would like to run some housekeeping scripts on child Hosts. Deleting Readmes, checking permissions and such security related stuff.

Is there a way to do this in MainWP? Would love to get the output in reports…

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer an out-of-the-box solution for that. But since MainWP is developer friendly, we invite you to build a custom solution.

As a side note, it may be of interest to you to know that we do have a Maintenance extension that cleans and optimizes the child sites, and the data from it can be included in the reports.

Thanks for the tip, but that’s different. I am aiming at files. Some Plugins, Themes and even core bring unneeded files with them, that might even pose security risks of variing degree. I want to get rid of them perriodically.
