Yep, the issue is still present here too and actually seems to get worse.
Today our managed sites Sync just fine but when trying to update more than half can’t and are disconnnected afterwards.
I came here thinking/hoping this issue was solved by now …

I don’t think it is another issue at all, as this issue started at exactly the same time as that update, but if it makes you feel happier …fine.
- Can you please check if any of those disconnected sites are running an outdated version of MainWP Child plugin?
All is updated 3 times a week, so all run the latest version (minus a possible 2 days)
- If you were to reconnect the sites via the Dashboard UI, does the connection break again when you try to perform updates?
We have a set process, sync all sites (as we don’t like having to run multiple update sessions in a row, which otherwise certainly will happen), then start updates, then see half the sites or so fail. We then first attempt a sync al sites again, those that errored will usually not magically connect again so we have to go into each site to disable and enable the child plugin and then go to the site in mainwp to see ‘update’, but the update will fail, so we have to do reconnect and then update, which usually works (but as you can see, this is a pain).
The usual update will then run without an issue as it should Or will still fail but on closer examination, the update Has been done as the latest version is running.
Sites affected by this are on various servers, mostly same (latest) AlmaLinux.
Just to make sure all was as I said, we just tried with a set of 30 servers to update …;. 15 did and 15 errored … again. sighs
To try all situations, we then tried manually updating 1 of those plugin on a site that had just errored, still error.
We then tried updating all those errored sites (without manually reconnecting first etc), still error on all of them.
So back to reconnecting each one separatly by hand again …
- And can you please post the community system report from your MainWP Dashboard for review? The report is located in your Dashboard under Info → Server, on the top right of the page.

PS We even tried the ‘forced reconnect’ from the mainwp dashboard, in the hope that would do soemthing but that didn’t help either (although still none of the site Shows as disconnected, just to be clear!)
What error do you get when the disconnect occurrs? If you get a red X icon, what tooltip message does it show when you hover your mouse cursor over it?
Do you get any errors when you try to reconnect the sites via the Dashboard UI (without deactivating and reactivating the MainWP Child plugin)?
