After updating plugins on my child sites, which showed no errors during the updates, one site still showed a plugin that needed an update. This was unusual, as I was sure I had updated it. So, I tried again. The update showed that it completed successfully. However, the plugin still needs to be updated.
I logged into the child site and saw that this plugin still needed to be updated. I updated this plugin, and sure enough, the update had an error.

Has this happened to you only when updating Premium plugins?
Are you running the latest Dashboard and Child plugins?
And can you please post the community system report from your MainWP Dashboard for review? The report is located in your Dashboard under Info → Server (your-mainwp-dashboard.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ServerInformation), on the top right of the page.

This started happening when I updated to v6.
My MainWP is on the same version as what is mentioned in the title of this post, and all the child sites are running MainWP Child v6.0.1.

Can you also tell me if this is happening to random plugins, or if there’s some pattern you’ve noticed?
For example, is it happening only with premium (non-wp.org plugins)?

After you have this happen, please try syncing the Dashboard manually, and let us know if the Dashboard again reports that there is an available update on that child site.

This is the first time I noticed this since updating to v6. Before v6, I would always be shown an error icon when any plugins (Pro or non-wp.org) failed to update.

Unfortunately, this is the first time I came across this since updating to v6. I guess in order to test this for you, I will have to go and remove my licenses from my Pro plugins and wait for an update.

Yes. When I saw this the first time, I syced the Dashboard manually, to be sure this was not just another dumb caching issue with the Dashboard. and tried to update the plugin again.

Also note if it was on the same child site, and see what happens when you sync the Dashboard afterward (does it still show an available update).
