Site Info - Last Status Check

So I have this one Child Site reporting: Last Check Status 500 - Internal Server Error on its MainWP site page.
The site pulls up fine, so I assume it was down when the “Last Check Status” was performed.

How often does this check occur? Is it a WordPress Check or MainWP check?
Syncing does not seem to update the status, so is there a way to manually perform this check and update the status back to 200 OK?

That check is part of the Basic Uptime Monitoring, whose check interval can be set in General Settings.

To manually run it, go to Sites > Monitoring page, and click Check Now in the menu for a single site, or run it on multiple sites from Bulk Actions menu.
