I have the same issue, site was working well for the last few years and for a week now, impossible to connect but, the site is on Go Daddy so wondering if not linked. I do have whitelisted mainwp dashboard but without luck… But, we do have a few other websites on GD and no issue so maybe a plugin conflict? I will open a ticket.
@bojan - Here is the message and it is cut: “MainWP Child plugin not detected or could not be reached! Ensure the MainWP Child plugin is installed and activated on the child site, and there are no security rules blocking requests. If you continue experiencing this issue, check the” - and it says no security rules blocking… Any ideas what it could be?
There can be many different causes for the connection issue and the message you receive.

We’ve had a report from a user that GoDaddy recently changed the IP address of all of their managed WordPress sites which, among other things, disconnected the site in the MainWP Dashboard. The fix for that particular problem was that the user had to change the DNS settings for the affected sites.
