That seems to be correct. Properties can have one Service Account email, but top-level GA accounts require a unique Service Account. All of my clients have their own GA account and I am an Admin. Curious to know if I’m doing it correctly! I am seeing data in MainWP now.
Yes, currently it is necessary to have a separete Service Account and the respective email for each Analytics Account.
