API end-points (Pro Reports)

Hi guys,

I just wanted to check if there’s a roadmap for the API development?

We seem to be going backward as v2 is missing many end-points that were available in v1. I understand that some may have been consolidated/merged but some values are no longer available (like “securityIssues” for example).

The most important one being the Pro Reports and other Extensions.

Are there any plans on adding end-points for report generation (PDFs or even e-mails sent)?

Ideally with params for certain periods.

When working with a larger amount of sites, such functionality is much needed for better overall reporting.

Thanks for reaching out.

Some of our extensions, like Pro Reports, already have support for v2, and we’ll be adding documentation for them to Postman shortly.

Of the extensions that currently have v1 support, only Jetpack Scan and Jetpack Protect don’t have v2 endpoints yet—but we plan to add support for them over time as well.

That’s great! Just just to confirm - will the Pro Reports have the ability to generate PDF reports or similar?

You are most welcome.

Generating PDF reports is currently out of the scope of the REST API calls for Pro Reports.

However, you will be able to fetch almost all of the data that goes into the report which will enable you to construct a report using your own means.

​Please feel free to make a suggestion about generating and/or downloading the PDF reports via the REST API on our feedback site.

Thanks, Bojan - being able to fetch the performed updates data should be sufficient.

Is there an ETA of when those end-points might be available or if you could send us over a doc for it perhaps?
