I am wondering if it would be possible to delay theme and plugin updates - and if this is a good idea.
I personally believe there is some risk involved when updating all updates as the updates appear? So, I would like to say, don’t make an update until 5 days the update has been published. I this case, I would assume, any early bugs will have been fixed.
What are you thoughts on this?

Advanced Auto Updates can be delayed by up to 30 days. The setting for it, Advanced automatic updates delay is on the Settings → General Settings page.
Naturally, this applies only to the automatic updates MainWP Dashboard performs, and only to the plugins/themes that you marked as trusted.
This is will not prevent plugins/themes showing an available update elsewhere on the Dashboard.
