Can i update plugins using zip

Hello,

We want to update a plugin using zip files. The plugin is already active and installed on +10 websites.

So i wonder if we can update if with a fresh zip (latest version)

I can see “upload zip feature” is available to install plugins, but i wonder if it will works to update ?

Yes it will overwrite the old version of the plugin. It’s similar to installing a zipped plugin on a child site. Then you also get the notification to overwrite the old version.
