Can't change "Check site HTTP response after update" per site

I am getting HTTP response check emails, and honestly I don’t remember one single time when they gave me a correct information or warning.

I tried to manually disable it at least on the dev and staging sites. However, the email alert came in no matter how often I changed the setting.

I noticed, I can go to a site > Settings > disable “Check site HTTP response after update” then click Save.

I get the confirmation that it all went well “Child site settings saved successfully.” but when I scroll back to the setting I see it’s enabled again

As soon as I go to the global settings and disable it there, it seems to be disabled everywhere.

Long story short: the UI gives the impression I have a global setting and site-based override setting. In reality I only have a global setting.

Thanks for reporting this.

I’ve verified an issue with the “Check site HTTP response after update” toggle on individual site settings.

We’ve logged it and will have it fixed in an upcoming MainWP Dashboard release.

I need to correct my initial assessment. This is a global-only setting.

The actual bug was that it appeared under individual site settings at all.

This has been fixed in MainWP Dashboard 6.1.7 by removing it from that page. Sorry for the confusion.

We considered adding a per-site override now, but we’re hesitant to add another option without evaluating user demand first.

Thanks for the clarification.

Too bad it’s not possible to override. For me the entire reason was that I did not want to keep this feature enabled on DEV/Staging sites. Reason were many false alarms (actually I think 100% false alarms), so I wanted to keep it only on live systems for now until I figure out more about it. Anyways, then I probably just disable the feature globally instead.
