can the managed sites create a backup of both the db and files before doing site upgrades?
the idea is that some updated sites might have issues after an upgrade so i could manually grab the backed up db and files to restore the previous version so at least clients could have their old site back

Hi @step8601, at the moment, there is no automated way to do this. You can set the “Require backup before update” option, and when you get to the update process, Dashboard will offer you to run backups first. After a fresh full backup is made you can proceed with updates.
