Dashboard says Sites are not connect (Red X) but I can access the WP dashboard

The MainWP dashboard is up to date. Few of my sites have the green checkmark, the rest have the red X however when I click to access the WP dashboard for individual websites i get access.

I also removed a site, reinstalled the plugin, it’s active however I cannot add this new site.

Hey @rgandon

“Jump to WP Admin” can still sometimes work even when a site is disconnected because the process of signing into the child site is different than the sync process, for example.

When you try to add that child site again, what error message do you see?

And what result do you get for that site when you run “Test Connection”?

**

Connection test failed.**

URL: [removed the URL and IP] - Received HTTP-code: 403 (Forbidden)

and MainWP Child plugin not detected or could not be reached! Ensure the MainWP Child plugin is installed and activated on the child site, and there are no security rules blocking requests. If you continue experiencing this issue, check the MainWP Community for help.
Click [here](javascript:void(0)) to see response from the child site.

The site says that the Child Plugin is active.

Thanks, Richard.

I’ve edited out the URL and IP address from your message.

But I did run a Test Connection from my Dashboard as well and I am also getting 403.

Looking into the response from the child site, I can see that the connection is being blocked by Cloudflare’s captcha.

Please see here for more info on how to Whitelist the Dashboard’s IP/URL in Cloudflare: Troubleshoot connection problems - MainWP WordPress Management

Thank you, I’ll have my guy take a look.
