So Elegant Themes has put out Divi 5 to replace Divi 4. However when there’s updates its not showing in my MainWP dashboard. I contacted Elegant Themes support and as expected they passed the buck to MainWP. So I thought I’d pop in here and ask what I should do?
Divi 4 to 5 needs a migration. It’s more than just an update. You won’t see it as a normal update on the child site’s dashboard either.

I did the migration on each site.
Does the client site show the available update on Dashboard → Updates? Then it should be shown in your MainWP Dashboard as well after a Sync.
Yes the child sites all show updates for the theme. But the updates never show in themes on MainWP Main Dashboard
Only one of my clients’ sites has been migrated to 5 (5.8.0), but it just showed up in my dashboard with an update to 5.8.1. So I’m not sure what goes wrong in your case, but it doesn’t seem to be a basic MainWP issue…
