Failed to update 2 Extensions

Hi,

I update 2 extensions:
MainWP Pro Reports Extension - Version 4.0.5 to 4.0.6
MainWP URL Extractor Extension - Version 4.0 to 4.0.1.1

but failed with error message: Update failed: Download failed. Forbidden

I follow the similar case here: https://newcom.mainwp.com/t/plugin-updates-download-failed-forbidden/2658
but still failed.

This is the first time I can’t update MainWP extensions.
Any other way to update those 2 extensions?

Hi Irfan,

Can you please try the following:

  1. Go to the WP > Plugins > Installed Plugins page on your MainWP Dashboard site,
  2. Deactivate Extensions in the issue, then reactivate them,
  3. Once you get redirected back to the Extensions page, click the Activate Extensions button to reactivate the API license
  4. Now, go to the WP > Plugins > Installed Plugins page again and try to update again.

I did try twice or more but still failed.
So the last resort is to uninstall and install the latest version directly. Not the best way to update the plugins but it’s works.
