Trying to upload a mu-plugin using the file uploader, but keep getting an error (failed, check if site is properly connected).
WP: 6.8.1
Dashboard 5.4.0.10 (running on a local webserver)
Any ideas?

Can you upload files using the File Uploader add-on to paths other than mu?
Can you please share the MU plugin you are trying to install with us?

I tried on different paths with just a simple test.txt file also. No success.
Tried different hosting servers too. No success. Always the same error.
Could this happen because it is a mainwp install on a local machine?
That is indeed why.
The child site must fetch the file from your Dashboard and almost always on such local host environments, the inbound connection will be blocked.
If you try to install a plugin via ZIP upload (Sites > Plugins > Install Plugins), you will find the same issue.
