I am a MainWP user with very basic computer knowledge. Before I could solve the connection error by deactivating and activating or even deleting the MainWP Child and reinstalling from scratch, but this time I cannot manage to reconnect my site…
Could someone guide me to solve it? I try to connect several times, but this message always appears:
If you’re getting a “405 Method Not Allowed” error, the most likely causes is a security rule present on the child site blocking the connection from the Dashboard.
Can you try temporarily disabling any security plugins (e.g. Wordfence, Solid Security, etc) you might have on the child site and see if that helps?
You can also check with your child site host support if there’s a server side security layer (e.g., ModSecurity, Imunify360, etc) and to whitelist MainWP’s requests.
