I keep connecting my sites to Google Analytics using the new oath method. And then they get disconnected. Sometimes sites won’t connect at all. The consistent message that pops up briefly is “Failed to save authentication data”.

With the new OAuth method, Google Analytics tokens must be refreshed regularly by WP-Cron. If WP-Cron is not triggered frequently on the MainWP Dashboard site, the token can expire and the account may disconnect or require re-verification.
We did fix an issue related to this flow, and I’ll DM you the fix to test. Still, even with the fix, WP-Cron must run reliably or the account can disconnect again.
