Have an issue with one site that will not add the main image using mainWP

this is from Permalink structure on both sites. Hosted by dreamhost on the same disk

not adding main image

WP main adds the image to another site
https://URL/blog/2025/07/12/sample-post

Stopped working about 60 day ago.

Feedback would be liked and has worked for 2 months.

Hey @xeno

Please try publishing the same post again but this time pick a small JPEG as the featured image so we can rule out file size or format issues.

If that doesn’t work either, log in to the child site’s wp-admin and set a featured image on the post directly to see if it sticks.

Also, can you please share the system report from your Child site? On the Child Site, navigate to your-child-site.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=mainwp_child_tab, SERVER INFORMATION tab, then click the Get system report button.

Child site:
did some experimenting and found that jpg and webp have the same rail rate. Using dreamhost and child is two different TLD on the same disk.
