I want my sites audited with the Lighthouse extension, and this works successfully. However, I have two client sites (a blueprint / template site plus the Dashboard site itself) which I do not want to run Lighthouse audits nor receive email notifications for (since they always trigger the notification being that the their SEO scores are low since they’re not indexible on purpose).
How can I remove these two sites from the Lighthouse audits or related email notifications?
One workaround I figured I could do is disable the Lighthouse notifications globally and enable on only the sites I want, but that also seems backwards because I’ll likely forget to enable it on new client sites as they’re added, so I only want to disable it on two sites at the moment out of 18 sites.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to disable Lighthouse notification per-site, but you can set all other Lighthouse per-site, and simply disable automated audits for those two sites or decrease the Notification threshold.
I get really tired of this limitation from all the MainWP plugins. How many times do people have to ask for plugins to work based on explicit blacklist/whitelist or tags or categorie-based rules?
I don’t know how many plugins I’ve seen where it’s like “we’re sorry, this plugin has to be enabled for ALL sites no matter what.” Or at best “well you can enable it for the ones you want, but then you have to remember to manually turn it on for all future sites added to MainWP.” Gaaa!
I suggest MainWP stop creating any new plugins until they can figure out how to let us enable/disable them per-site with the rules we need to use.
Thanks for the feedback.
