How to Bulk Update Copyright Year Across All Connected Sites

Dear MainWP Support,

I hope you’re doing well.

I manage multiple WordPress websites through MainWP, each using different themes. Most of these sites have a copyright notice in the footer like:

© 2023 Website Name | All Rights Reserved
or
© 2021 Website Name | All Rights Reserved

I would like to update all the copyright years to show 2025 instead of the currently displayed year on each site.

Is there a way to do this in bulk using MainWP..perhaps through a code snippet, search-and-replace, or another method..without having to manually change the footer on each individual site?

Any guidance or tools you can recommend would be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Hey @ajay_newszy

You can insert footer content on all child sites using our White Label add-on. You can find it under Add-ons > White Label > WordPress Options > Global footer content.

However, that option doesn’t let you update existing footer content.
Also, MainWP doesn’t have a built-in search-and-replace function.

But, if you find or create a suitable code snippet to update the copyright year, you can use our Code Snippets add-on to apply that snippet across multiple sites from your MainWP Dashboard.

You can find more info about Code Snippets in our help article: White Label - MainWP WordPress Management
