My dashboard has a 301 redirect for the frontend to my business site. Since MainWP 5.4 I get emails that the site is DOWN with status 301. After a while it changes back to UP with status 200 and it goes on and on. I can’t explain why this is happening, but I thought I had found a workaround.
I went to the child site settings and added 301 as a status code for UP for this site. It’s fine for me, because I’ve got other monitoring in place to check if it has actual issues.
But after saving the setting it’s removed again. Can you fix that? The idea is that it uses the global default values + the added 301 for this specific site.
I understand I can do this with a workaround and as this is the only site that needs it, it’s not a big problem, but if we are making more exceptions, it’s hard (impossible) to track/remember and a change of global settings in the future can result in unwanted effects.
I’m getting a lot of these too, in my case 302 codes on all dev sites that i have in maintenance mode, then another email that it’s fine with a 200 code. looking for a fix to this as well; a way to ignore the 302 response.
I thought that was Up codes, as it says, rather than Ignore. Also, these email messages are recent - jusr the last couple of weeks - and I didn’t even have Monitoring enabled! I had to turn it on to find these settings… ?
