After publishing an article to our child sites, we found it necessary to change the Facebook image we initially used via the Yoast SEO plugin. The new image was one already in the MainWP Image Library. After making the change, we found multiple copies of the image in the MainWP website’s Image Library. Is this normal? We are using MainWP version 4.2.6.

Can you please update your MainWP Dashboard and MainWP Extensions, including WordPress SEO to the latest version and see if that help?
We’ve had some changes with regards to the og:image tag in the WordPress SEO extension.
Also, can you please elaborate a bit more on why did you find it necessary to change the Facebook image? Was it not being properly set via the MainWP Dashboard?
Hi Bojan, we will do the update and see if that helps. Thank you.
The image change was because I realized we used the wrong size image for Facebook. We upload two images for each article we post. One is square (1200x1200) and one is horizontal (1000x563). I mistakenly used the square image for Facebook on the last couple of posts. Hence the edit to the posts. The horizontal image is used within the post and is set as the “Feature image” in addition to being a part of the Yoast SEO Facebook image.
