Lighthouse audit not working, not showing any sites or errors

Hi there,

I’ve been trying to set up the lighthouse extension for some time now and have tried everything which I’ve found on the community, but nothing is working so far.

I have succesfully created the Google API key, for testing purposes I have not added any restrictions on the API key. When I test it in my browser I am getting a result, so it seems that the key is correct and working fine:

After setting everything up in MainWP and clicking the “Audit all sites” button, it is showing me a progress modal which shows checkmarks for every single site:

After closing the modal the table of websites is still empty:

This problem seems to be similar to the problem mentioned here: Lighthouse audit not working — doesn't list my sites in the extension UI, 'N/A' in the Sites UI

But sadly there is no solution provided in this thread.

I hope you can help me out.

Can you please post the community system report from your MainWP Dashboard for review? The report is located in your Dashboard under Info → Server, on the top right of the page.

Thanks for the system reports.

Can you please try temporarily disabling the Perfmatters plugin and see if that helps?

We’ve had reports of some performance and caching plugins conflicting with the Lighthouse extension.

Keep in mind that performance plugins do not offer significant benefits on the MainWP Dashboard since most data is dynamic.

Also, can you check if you are seeing any errors in the browser console or in the debug log?

Hi @bojan

I have deactivated all plugins now, except for:

MainWP Dashboard
MainWP Lighthouse Extension

All other extensions and plugins are deactivated.

Results are exactly the same. When clicking on audit all sites, it will very quickly go over all sites, all of them get a checkmark and then nothing is shown.

There are no errors and no warnings in console or network tab.

If it’s quickly going over the sites then it is likely not auditing them.
Audit for a single site can take up to 30s.

Would you mind opening a private Help Desk ticket so we can collect some additional information & investigate further?

And please refer to this Managers thread by its URL in the ticket.

Just to provide an update on this -

The issue was related to the server and its connection and not to MainWP in specific.

Google has flagged the IP of the server as a potential VPN IP, and this was blocking the connection to their API.
