I manage around 80 sites that are all hosted on a SiteGround and each day at the same time a lot of the sites time out due to exhausting the server capacity. The rest of the time, the capacity is more than ample. SiteGround support staff have looked into this and have confirmed this to be correct.
We have pinpointed that at the exact time of the site going down the cron job mainwp_child_wordfence_cron_scan runs on all of this sites. We believe this is what is causing the issue. I have removed the WordFence add on from my MainWP Dashboard and then I can gone into each child site to remove the mainwp_child_wordfence_cron_scan cron job. However, each time it is deleted it is instantly regenerated.
I have tried deleting MainWP child plugin and reinstalling but this has no affect. The only solution is to pause this cron job.
Any advice on how to remove the mainwp_child_wordfence_cron_scan cron job if I am no longer using MainWP to scan my sites?
Thanks
