MainWP Staging Add-On doesn't detect WP-Staging plugin installed

Still testing out MainWP, only have one site connected so far with the MainWP Child pluign. I just installed and activated WP Staging on that site, and added the MainWP Staging extension. Following the steps in this article I went to create a staging site via the MainWP interface and on this page ../wp-admin/admin.php?page=ManageSitesStaging&id=1 I just see a notice that says “Please install WP Staging plugin on child website”

The WP Staging plugin is definitely installed … it even shows up in the list of installed plugins in MainWP’s overview of the site. Screenshot attached.

Any suggestions for how to get the MainWP Staging Extension to recognize that the WP Staging plugin is installed?

Hey @edharris

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve managed to reproduce this on our test Dashboard.

We will have a fix for it in the upcoming release of the Staging add-on.

Thanks for looking at this. Do you have a timeline for that next release? It would just be helpful in planning our rollout of this tool this week (or not).

I don’t have the ETA at this time, sorry.

As soon as we have the fix ready, I’ll update you via this thread.

A fix for this issue was included in version 6.1.3 of the MainWP Child plugin released today.

Thanks again for reporting this to us.
