Hello,

I think is missing the option to “exclude directories and files” from the “Wordpress core” with the Updraftplus add-on.

ps: At least for me, it is very important to include these files in backups, especially wp-config.php, in case I suffer an attack or problem and need to restore the entire website (including the modifications and customizations included in wp-config.php), but excluding other folders and files unrelated to the website that are also in the root directory.

Hey @suki

There actually is a Exclude these option for the WordPress core.

However, you first need to Save Changes on the Settings page and refresh the page to get that field to show up.

I’ve forwarded this to our dev team to see if we can show this field as soon as the WordPress core is toggled on.
