Is there a way to see when automatic updates fail, for example, if the update package is unavailable (because the license has expired, etc.)? For example, in the log or in an overview?
Hey @Radnom
Unfortunately, our Network Activity does not currently log failed updates.
We do have additional logging called Custom Event Monitor available on this URL: wp-admin/admin.php?page=ActionLogs.
Note that these are used mostly for debugging, and the interface is not user-friendly.
On that page, you can select “Update Checking” logging type, which will show when a certain automatic update has failed, but it will not show a reason for the failure, such as an expired license.
Please feel free to make a suggestion about logging failed updates in Network Activity on our feedback site.
That way, others can vote for it, letting us know which features our users want the most: https://voice.mainwp.com
