Theme auto updates - linking incorrectly to source

Am testing MainWP for a client.
Theme Auto updates

When I click on a theme name where should it take me?

I am constantly getting a strange variation of plugins pages on wordpress.org that have nothing to do with the theme that I selected such as “habu plugin” or " Oganro Flight Booking", etc.

If its a free theme = it should then take me to that on wordpress.org(?) but if its an Envato theme, what should it show me?

Plugin updates seem to operate correctly and take me to the plugin or show me “not found” for Envato plugins.

Hi @247webmaster, I am not 100% sure that I understand the problem. Can you please send me exact steps how I can duplicate this problem?

go to Themes
got to Auto Updates
Click Show themes (make sure u choose active and inactive for example)
Click on any Theme name (after the list of themes has loaded)
See where the link takes you for non-worpress org themes and then worpress-org themes

The main problem here is that plugins/themes that are not hosted in WP.org have slug-matching instance in WP.org so MainWP “thinks” that is it.

We will try to find a way to detect if plugin/theme is or is not from WP.org and solve this problem.

I will let you know more after I talk to the dev team.
