Unable to Post with Private visibility

I’m unable to post articles in my wordpress websites with private visibility.
This issue was reproducible by following these steps:

  1. Acess the “Posts” tab
  2. Click “Add New”
  3. Write down the title and and post’s body, select the websites in which you want to publish ,select the visibility as “Private” and click Publish.
  4. Check the websites you have choosen in the private step and observe the post is public to everyone.
  5. Go back to MainWP dashboard , select “Posts” → “Manage Posts”, edit the post you have just published.
  6. Observe the visibility is set to “Public” instead of “Private” as you had previously choosen.

Hi Bruno,

thanks for reporting this problem. I was able to duplicate it so I sent this to our dev team.
They will have a fix for this in the next update.

Just a quick update here, the fix is in place and it will be included in the upcoming 4.2 version release.

Hey Bruno,
if you are interested, you can grab the MainWP 4.2 Beta version and test it on one or two sites. This version addresses the reported issue.
