Update Everything updates all, but still shows me the updates

Hi @all,

since a week I’m using MainWP. So far, everything is working pretty fine. What I recognize is when I do an update, the MainWP Dashboard still offers me those updates, when I go to a Webpage to the Admin-Panel and click un updates, then there is nothing to update and it disappears as well on the MainWP Dashboard.
Is there something what I can do, that after a successfully update MainWP will recognize it automatically?
It looks like that this problem is just exists for Theme and Translation Updates…

Can you please post the community system report from your MainWP Dashboard for review? The report is located in your Dashboard under Status → Server, on the top right of the page.

I would think it might be that you need to sync child sites after you run the updates?

Thank you for getting back to me.

The report looks good.

I have seen this behavior with the Divi theme. I personally think that this issue is caused by some problem in their custom Update API.

Can you please wait for another 24h, resync your sites and see if these “ghost” updates clear out?

thanks a lot for your answer. I think you’re right, it looks like it’s a DIVI thing. I did a test-install on another server, without the DIVI-Theme and there I don’t face any problems

thanks for getting back to me.

If I remember correctly, some time ago when I tested this, I noticed very strange behavior when it comes to Divi updates.

On one child sites, I spotted the Divi update, I updated it (directly on the child site) and saw that the theme itself shows this ghost update, not just MainWP.

I think that some users already reported this issue to the Elegant Themes team, but not sure why there is no fix on their side.
