Thanks for the System report.
The server is failing the self connect test, which indicates that a security rule on the server is blocking requests which would also block the Extension installation.
Please check if there are any custom security rules in the .htaccess file, disable HTTP Basic Auth protection if you have it enabled, and disable the firewall in servers cPanel (or the cPanel equivalent).
It’s also good to have the Hosting support verify why the Server self connect (loopback connection) fails.
Hello
The .htaccess file don’t have any protection code.
The firewall in servers cPanel is now disable but the problem remain.
the MainWP Dashboard is the only active plugin.
Thanks for verifying that.
The issue indicates that a server security rule is not permitting connections to the server.
Can you please have the support of your Hosting provider check why the Server self connect (a loopback connection) is failing?
@gilbertocarvalhais Where are you hosted? I just ran into the same issue here. I’m hosted on Vultr through RunCloud. By default, RunCloud disables the “tmpfile” function. After removing this from the exclusion list, my file upload worked. (WP send me an email there was something wrong on my site, listing tmpfile as the failed function)
Still does not resolve the failing self connect test (which I also have), but still… uploads work for me now.
my host is OVH.
And I alredy disable the firewall, but still have the same problem
Please try to contact the support of your Hosting provider and have them check why the Server self connect (a loopback connection) is failing.
Problem resolved. It was caused by disabled tmpfile()
PHP function.
