It refers to our support.
The green message only means API credentials are stored. It does not confirm that the latest API request succeeded. The reload makes a live request to Virusdie’s servers which seems to be failing.

The account was originally created at the virusdie website, not inside of MainWP. The virusdie support made it possible to use this already existing account inside of MainWP. And at first, it worked.

The system report looks good, and since the latest scans appear correctly in your Virusdie account, the issue seems limited to retrieving the data through the Virusdie API.
Please enable the Virusdie log under MainWP Dashboard > Info > Custom Event Monitor (wp-admin/admin.php?page=ActionLogs), click Reload Virusdie Data once, and then send me the resulting Custom Event Monitor logs via private message.
Please don’t post those logs publicly, as they may contain site domains and scan information.

On that page, select Virusdie and then Save Settings.
After that, go back to the Virusdie add-on Settings page, and click Reload Virusdie data.

They confirm that your MainWP Dashboard is successfully reaching the Virusdie API, but Virusdie is rejecting the API key with:
Authorization failed — Invalid API key
Since this account was created directly with Virusdie and Virusdie Support manually enabled its API access, please contact Virusdie Support and ask them to verify or restore the API authorization for your account. Let them know that the integration previously worked but the sites_list request is now returning an invalid API key error.
