Hi,
We have the latest version 5.1 installed and we are having issues where images are not pushed across to the newly created cloned post, is there anything I can check my end to see if that is causing the issue??

Hey @NeilSpinney
MainWP doesn’t support post cloning.
Can you please provide more details on how exactly are you creating these posts? And please attach screenshots if you think it’s easier.
Perhaps you just meant creating posts in bulk as explained here under the Create a New Post
section: Manage Posts - MainWP Documentation
Hi @bojan
This issue arises when we clone an existing post (in the manage posts section) from one site to another site using the clone function, everything gets copied across apart from any images.
Original post NEXT WEEK: StocExpo 2024 returns! – International Fire Protection
Cloned post https://globalfireevents.com/next-week-stocexpo-2024-returns/
Currently we have to go into each cloned post and upload the images to each site and then insert them into the post.
Hope this information helps?
Hey @NeilSpinney
Thanks for the screenshot and additional details.
The Clone feature is an experimental part of our Post Plus extension, which was released by accident. We are still working on it.
I managed to reproduce your issue with featured images not being cloned and I have forwarded it to the development team.
So is there no time scale for a fix?
Hi @NeilSpinney
Right now, we don’t have an ETA when and if this feature will be fully released.
Hi @bojan
Is there another way we can clone posts from MainWP into other sites as the clone feature was one of the reasons we started using MainWP.
Unfortunately, the only other way would be to do so manually by copy/pasting the content and attaching images.
However, in that case, it might be faster to use the experimental Clone feature of the Post Plus extension and fix the images manually.
