WhiteLabel Custom admin CSS stopped working

Hello, after the latest updates the custom css for the administration panel of my child sites has stopped working, apparently I have not made any changes to the configuration, is there a solution available? thank you.

Hey @Aceerre

Welcome to the MainWP Community.

The development team has prepared a fix for the issue related to Custom admin CSS and Custom login CSS fields.

Please let me know if you want me to send you a pre-release version via a direct message.

Hi @bojan,

I have the same issue! can you send me the beta? [email protected]

Thanks
Fred

Hi @wpexpert

I’ve sent you the pre-release version via a DM.

@bojan,

Please can you also send this to me. Long standing MainWP member, but just joined the community because I was Googling this exact bug.

Thanks

Hey @nickjames

Welcome to the MainWP community!

I have just sent you a pre-release version via a DM.

Thank you.

ahh I see this is the Main WP Child Plugin not the Main WP Master Extension with the bug.

Not sure there is a way to remotely update Child Sites that have the Main WP Child plugin already installed is there?.. Any idea of the date this version will be rolled out?

Kindest

Nick

You can Go to Plugins in your MainWP dashboard and Install the new version to the selected sites. It then overwrites the installed version.

I often test new beta/RC versions of the child plugin and can install it this way on all my sites.

As @josklever mentioned, you can install the plugin via the MainWP Dashboard in bulk:

We expect the release to be in the following days.

Thank you. Everyday is a school day. I never knew we could do that in Main WP. :slight_smile:

We still are seeing a weird issue in the fact that its working on some websites and not on others. We’re trying to hide content.

for example:

.omapi-add-new{display:none !important;}

On some sites, Instead of displaying the CSS property, it’s displaying the class name within the CSS class. (See screenshot image). image_2024_07_09T10_52_03_409Z - TechSmith Screencast - TechSmith Screencast

No idea why some Child sites are behaving differently.

Nick

That is an unusual behavior, and we cannot reproduce it on our test Dashboards.

Would you mind opening a private Help Desk ticket so we can collect some additional information & investigate further?

And please refer to this Managers thread by its URL in the ticket.
