Theme update turns green without updating

I’ve noticed that sometimes when I click the button to update a theme or plugin on a child site, MainWP clocks for a couple seconds, then turns the button green with a checkmark. The button says Go to WPAdmin.

In those cases the updates are not happening until I go to WP Admin and do them manually. I have set some themes and plugins to untrusted, but I thought I should be able to bypass that by manually telling MainWP to run the update.

Why does this happen? Shouldn’t I be able to run the updates manually from MainWP?

If you don’t have them set to ignore then yes you should be able to update them as normal. “Untrusted” is the default setting. I suspect you have something else happening such as a time out or a block.
