Hello,
mainwp permanently indicates that themes should be updated for some installations. The versions are up to date, only mainwp has an error in synchronization.
See screenshot.

Do you use some caching plugin on your child sites in issue?
What about server-side caching?
Does it help if you sync your sites after some time?
No caching. MainWP run on a development server in a single WP installation. Reload doesn’t work. This MainWP runs on a development server in a separate vhost. Only in this small WP installation.
This error does not always occur. Reload does not provide a solution.
Next time I will analyze the problem in more depth.
Currently I can’t reproduce it any more.
Hi Ralf, thanks for letting us now. If it happens again, please let me know and I will give my best to figure out what is going on.
@bogdan had original asked if you are running a Cache Plugin on your CHILD SITE… you have givin us only your MainWP Dashboard information thus far.
Please let us know if you need further assistance when this pop’s back up.
Thank you for your patience.
Excuse me, what does this have to do with each other?
MainWP shows the currently installed version and the (allegedly) new version for updating.
Both version numbers are identical! (See screenshot)
MainWP reads the correct data from the childsite. But its comparison is not correct.
Are versions 2.8.3 and 2.8.3 identical?
MainWP wanted to install the new 2.8.3 onto the old 2.8.3. (lowest entry on the screenshot)
And now please explain what this has to do with caching.
Hi Ralf, could you please send me temporary access to your dashboard via PM so I can check this further?
Hi Bodgan, this is currently not possible.
If the error occurs again next time I will contact you via PM and I will look for a solution for an access to you.
By the way, the last updates (only plugins were affected) ran perfectly.
@MedienHusky - We got the same issue and it is a caching issue at the child site level. We see it all the time with DIVI theme only and after 24h or 48h, the notification disappears… Sadly, I didn’t take the time to investigate more but definitely that and recurrent for the last 4 to 5 months I would say.
Just now another test with me was offered.
No chaching, neither per plugin nor on the nginx server!
All plugins except MainWP were deactivated.
Update from Divi 4.5.8 to 4.6.0
What I have done:
→ Update started via MainWP
Error-free run through
→ All page new Synchronized
DIVI Site displays 2 update.
Version comparison: Installed 4.6.0 → new version 4.6 (see screenshot)
→ Afterwards logged in to the Divi.
DIVI Site still shows 2 updates.
In the theme folder: 2 updates suggested.
→ After that Dashboard → Update called. (Shows also 2 updates)
After the page is called up, the update notices disappear.
→ New Sync via MainWP → Everything is Up-to-date
After what I found out now, I think it is a problem of DIVI and not of MainWP.
Excuse me!
