I installed and attempted to use the Vulnerability Scanner but no matter how I run it all I get for each site is an UNDEFINED ERROR PLEASE TRY AGAIN.

As soon as we find what is going on, we will post the solution here.
Support suggested that I remove ALL the extensions and then reinstall/activate â and that worked!

Same problem.
No errors in the logs.
However I fixed a similar problem with the Sucuri extension (same message, undefined error),
It was an obsolete hook (mainwp-sucuriscan-sites => mainwp_sucuriscan_sites).
Maybe there is also an obsolete hook in VulnChecker, that wasânt properly flagged as deprecated ?
A lot of hooks names were modified recently, with â-â replaced by â_â
mainwp-vulner.js is expecting âerrorâ or âokâ in the ajax response, but these params are not in the php (do_vulner_result_recheck)
So js/php seems out of sync. Maybe a permission problem while updating.
This did not work for me. I uninstalled all of the extensions, re-installed and activated only the Vulnerability Checker extension ⊠same error as reported above. Iâll create a support ticket.
EDIT: I submitted a support ticket, but I donât see it in the list of âMy Support Tickets,â so Iâm not sure if it worked.
+1 - Weâre experiencing the same issue. Never used this extension before so installed from scratch and this is the error we get on every site when hitting the âCheck all sitesâ button.

As a follow up on this, support and @bogdan have yet to receive any tickets with a way to test and find the issue, we are not able to duplicate on our setups
Same issue here. looks like the last time it ran was 7/15/21. Not sure if that narrows it down at all.

We are still working on this. So far, we have inconclusive results. In all tickets that we have received the issue got resolved by itself or by reconnecting a site. But we couldnât catch any actual bug in the code.
If you can, please try to reconnect one chid site and see if that allows you to run a scan for it. If it fails again, please open a helpdesk ticket.
